OWTS Designer — Design Retainer Agreement DRAFT

This agreement is between Nussbaumer & Clarke (the "Engineer") and the Homeowner (the "Client") for on-site wastewater (septic / OWTS) design services.

ScopeSite evaluation, system sizing & layout, sealed drawings for agency submission.
Design fee$2,800 (difficulty-priced)
Retainer due$1,400 (50%) to begin; balance at submission.

Terms (summary)

  • The Engineer's seal is applied only to final, reviewed drawings.
  • Agency review fees (county / NYSDOH) are billed at cost and are the Client's responsibility.
  • Either party may terminate in writing; work performed to date is billable.
  • Full terms incorporate the OWTS Designer Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (draft).
